Why Support JROTC Bowl-a-Thon

Joining or donating to a JROTC Bowl-a-Thon is a fantastic way to support local students while having a bit of fun. If you’re looking for reasons to convince others (or yourself!) to get involved, here is why it matters:

JROTC programs often operate on tight budgets. Your contribution helps cover costs that the school or military might not fully fund, such as:

• Competitions: Fees for Drill Team, Color Guard, and Raider meets.
• Travel: Bus rentals and hotels for out-of-state events.
• Uniforms & Equipment: Keeping the cadets looking sharp and ensuring they have the gear they need for training.

Unlike standard gym classes, JROTC focuses heavily on leadership, citizenship, and character development. By supporting the Bowl-a-Thon, you’re helping students learn:
